With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie J. Barfield of Cottondale, Florida, born in Lynn Haven, Florida, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lewis and Rosie Nellie Taylor; and her husband John Barfield. She is survived by: her children, Leo Barfield (Adeane) of Tallahassee, Jeannie Williams (Royce) of Cottondale, Caroline Davis Johnson (Joe) of Chipley and Pamela Meredith (Rob) of Chipley; and her siblings, Joseph Taylor, Rev. Buford Taylor and Wondell Moody of Panama City, FL.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. And a host of nieces and nephews.
