He is survived by: his wife Myrle Barnes of Cottondale, FL; his children, Billy Lathan of Chipley, FL, Jason Barnes (Kristie) of Cottondale, FL and Julie Obert (Cliff) of Cottondale, FL; his sister Betty Bildner of Osseo, Michigan; his grandchildren, Aaron Obert (Brailey), Kelsie Obert, Kayla Lathan, Emily Halley (Seth), Kasey Lathan and Rebecca Barnes; and his great grandchildren, Everett Obert, Tinslee Obert, Kobe Kernoschak, Sarah Kernoschak, Weston Kernoschak and Tyson Kernoschak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Freewill Baptist Church (2555 Kynesville Rd, Cottondale, FL 32431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
