With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eurita Wheelus of Cottondale, Florida, born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband C. W. Wheelus; her daughter Casey Wheelus Hood; her parents, Samuel Smith and Bessie Rebecca Smith; and her siblings, Juanita Smith Peacock (Broward), Hinton Smith (Betty), John Smith (Boots), Howard Smith (Monette), Calvin Smith (Helen), Deane Smith Slater (Jack) and Mary Inez Smith McElvey (Joe).
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Wheelus of Dallas, TX; her grandson Michael Hood of Dallas, TX; her stepson Ronald Wheelus (Ann) of Lake Placid, FL; and her stepgrandsons, Charles "Chuck" Wheelus (Tracie) and Jeff Wheelus (Jincy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
