He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred K. Shaheen and Nelly A. Shaheen; his grandparents, Kalil, Esma Shaheen, Yousef, Nabiha Aswad of Broumana and Lebanon; and his cousin Pamela J. Shaheen.
He is survived by: his wife Deby; his daughters, Carleigh and Haley; his brother Fred; his children, Katie, Kim and Kevin; his brother-in-law David Krinsky (Jenn); his children, Ella, Iris, Charlotte and Leo; his cousins, Cindy Shaheen Johnson, John, Sandy Shaheen, Donna, Joe Kiefer (Shaheen), Chuck and Virginia Shaheen; his uncle Najib (Adele Aswad); his cousins, Aswad, Nehme, Mashi, Abdallah, Bomysoad and Koury; his friends, Barbie, Todd Kozlowski, Billy, Cynthia Zeboris, Jeri Wright, John McGarty, Kathy Kayner Lewis, Cheryl and Walt Hoffman; and also, Phil DeSando and John Zdimal.
Per his wishes, his body has been donated to science and we will not be having a formal service. We ask that in place of flowers or gifts, you would honor his memory by donating to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, to help him take care of Deby, even after he's gone.
