He is survived by: his children, Ira Wade III (Melody), Kermit Wade, Duane Wade, Daryl Wade (Katie Zaytoun), Diane Brookes (Lennard Brookes) and Shalise Wade; and his wife Lottie O'Neal.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MeadowLawn Funeral Home (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the MeadowLawn Chapel (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
