Betty Jo Weidner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Weidner of Coral Springs, Florida, born in Hollywood, Florida, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Smith and Ruby Clyde Smith; her siblings, Marvin Sylvester Smith, Calvin Cecil Smith and Dorothy Jean Smith; and her son Clarence Julius Weidner.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Lynn Holmes; her grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher and Catherine Lee Holmes; her daughters, Bonnie, Amanda Mimms (Alec), Ashley and Christina Louise Erwin (Patrick); her grandchildren, Chad and Dallas Erwin; her daughter Julie Mayberry; and her grandchildren, Ellie, Katie, Zoe and Courtney. She is also survived by her five children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

However, she would tell you that her greatest achievements were raising her five children, especially as a single mother, and caring for her mother who had Alzheimer's Disease.
