Applestein in Coral Gables, Florida, born in Bayside, New York, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernis Gould and Arthur Gould; her close friend Charles Sokol; her sisters, Sara and Leah; and her granddaughter Julia Bivens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amie Devero, Abbie Applestein (Tsvik Montoryanu) and Andrea Bivens (Jim Eisenberg); and her grandson Jared Bivens. She is also survived by niece and five nephews.
