With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Ray Lawrence (Coral Gables, Florida), born in Hamburg, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lawrence and Frank Lawrence; and his brother Frank Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Mary Winton "Wynn" Brown Lawrence; his son Craig Lawrence (Evelyn); his grandsons, Cody and Brandon Lawrence; and his great grandchild Melissa "Missy" Lawrence.
The City of Coral Gables gave him keys to the city for his career accomplishments, contributions to the community, and for his induction into the FACA Hall of Fame.
