She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. James H; her parents, Ernestine Chalk and Wesley Chalk; and her brother William G. Chalk. She is survived by: her children, William Putman, Melissa Cox (Cory) and Daniel Putman (Pennye); her brother Talis Wesley Chalk (Helen); her granddaughter Pamela Buhler Cox (Corbitt); and her niece Tina Chalk Longwell.
