He is survived by: his wife Judy Horowitz; his sons, Zachary Horowitz and Gideon Horowitz; his grandchildren, Jazmyn Horowitz, Leia Horowitz and Emmet Horowitz; and his sister Julie Beth Herbert (Frank Herbert).
