He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Pelton; his wife Kathleen Pelton; and his siblings, Theodore Pelton, Donald Pelton and Joan Pelton.

He is survived by: his daughter Lee Savarese (Peter Savarese); his grandchildren, Heather Cunningham, Gina Savarese, Peter Savarese and Christian Savarese; his brother Bob Ewald; and his nephews, Theodore "Ted" Pelton and Bobby Pelton.
