He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio M. Sousa and Maria Dos Anjos Sousa (Paiva); and his sister Marie C. Sousa. He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Sousa (Marshall); his children, Ann Marie Goldwater (David) of New Zealand, Laura Hood (late Gary S.) of Smithfield, Joseph Sousa (Jane) of Warren and Anthony Sousa (Kristin) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Robert W. North (Amber), Scott J. North, Kimberly M. North (Ernest), Matthew J. Sousa and Katelyn R. Sousa; his great grandchild Deion Hazzard; and his brother Anthony Sousa (Florence) of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
