She was predeceased by: her daughter Lileana Garcia; and her parents, Josefina Vazquez and Roberto Alvarez. She is survived by: her husband William Cortes; her son George Luis Garcia; her sister Rosario Lasley (Donald); her nephews, Elias Hernandez (Jana) and Michael Hernandez (Diana); her father-in-law Guillermo Cortes (Emilia); and her children, Jennifer, Michael and Justin.
