Walter J Starkey Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter J Starkey (Cocoa, Florida), born in Ashland, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 27, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Joseph Starkey and Helen Rajkowski Starkey; his brother George; his son-in-law Don Freeman; and his granddaughter Erin.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Leonard; his children, Kim LaFrance (Kevin), Bruce, Mike and Suz; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, David, Sarah, Brad and Sylas; and his siblings, Joseph, Ronald and Helene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walt's name to St. Vincent de Paul, Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, Florida 32953.
