He was predeceased by: his parents, Paterno Escarilla and Mary Escarilla; and his sisters, Peggy Burns, Rose Escarilla and Barbara Rouse (Carroll).
He is survived by: his siblings, Paterno Escarilla (Julie) and Sandra Wickham (Don). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
