He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline; and his siblings, Clifford, Gilbert, Floyd, Raymond, Edward, Frederick and Freeda Shirey.

He is survived by: his sister Jane Fabian Kovich; his nephew Thomas Shirey, Sr. (Connie); and his niece Twila Morgan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
