He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everett Griffin and Iona Elizabeth Montgomery; and his son Joel. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his sons, Jeffrey (Teresa) of Mt. Pleasant and Jay (Beth) of Titusville, Florida; his grandchildren, Britany Ratliff (Danny), Kyle Griffin, Alexys Griffin, Shannon and Ryan McDaniel; and his great grandchild Reagan. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.
