He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Yates and Charlene Yates; his wife Patricia "Trish" Yates; his son Zachary Yates; and the parents of child, Grover Charles Yates, Sr. and Charlene Dennis Yates.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Yates (Colten Dailey) of Cocoa and Jessi Yates of Cocoa; his brother Carson Yates of Christmas; and his nephew Carson Yates, Jr. (Amanda Yates) of Cocoa.
