It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Eugene Yoakum of Cocoa, Florida, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Yoakum and Harold Yoakum; his wife Susan K. Yoakum (Trimble); and his siblings, Mary Yoakum Trobaugh and Paul Yoakum.

He is survived by: his children, Melissa Williamson (Jeffrey) of Melbourne and Michael Yoakum (Rose) of Crossville; his brother Harold Yoakum; his grandchildren, John, Jessica, Jamie and Jaclyn of Cocoa; and his sister-in-law Pamela Trimble (Largo Florida). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
