He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Calkins and Santa Lazzaro; his close friend John O'Brien; his sons, Joshua (Melissa Calkins), Brian, Mathew and Daniel; his grandsons, Jacob and James; his siblings, Dee Boyer, Linda Calkins and Dennis Calkins; and his stepsons, John O'Brien (Boogie), Miguel Romaina-Perez and Isaac Solorzano. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
