It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. DeMars of Cocoa, Florida, born in Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Scharte and Audrey Scharte (Tracy); her husband Dick; her son Rick Brunette; her siblings, Arthur Scharte and Elaine Scharte-Engleman-Monday; and her former husband William Brunette.
She is survived by: her pet Pusser; her daughters, Laura King (James), Patricia Williams-Bangsund and Janice DeMars-Bettschen (Don); and her grandchildren, Lindsey King, Courtlyn Johnson, Amanda King (Jesse), Gill Williams (Melissa), Christopher Harrison (Jessa), Elizabeth Bangsund, Julieta Brunette, Dylan Bettschen and Tyler Bettschen. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
