He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Finley Beason "Ben" Garnett and Lois Schrader Garnett; his sons, Matthew Beason Garnett and Christopher Jackson Garnett; his grandchild Ayden Garnett; and his sisters, Ginny Dixon, Maggie Fleming (Steve), Frances Linthicum (Mike) and Becky Zubowicz (Bud). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (1400 US-1, Titusville, FL 32796). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
