He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Beeler and Lee Beeler; his niece Erin Horst; and his nephew Max Schlueter. He is survived by: his wife Teri; his children, Sean of Jacksonville Beach and Tess (Brad); and his sister Stacy (Darren Horst) of Fernandina Beach. He is also survived by four grand-dogs.
