“:My deepest sympathy to you &all the mutual family members Carl. I have been calling and emailing Shirley for over a year now, unable to reach her. Yesterday my Christmas greetings were returned again. So today I looked on line to see if I could find her. I had no idea she had died; I am so shocked and saddened. We were such good friends for such a long time, since our Sunnybrook days actually. She was such a vital, inspirational and rare human being. I was privileged to have been her friend.”
