He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leland Kellar and Agnes Kellar; his wife Muriel May Foster; his children, Kathryn Kellar of Cocoa Beach, Karen (LT) and Robert (Bob); his grandchildren, McKenna (Jenifer Moore), Rochelle (Jeremy Colangelo) and Robert Kellar, III (Grace); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Blake, Avery Colangelo, Ella Kellar and Wyatt Moore; his sister Barbara Reinschmidt; and his cousin Majorie Werhle. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
