She was predeceased by: her parents, R. V. Pope and Ethel Bryant Pope; her husband Herbert Eugene Parnell (Gene); and her brothers, Wilbur "Dub" Jolley of Alfred Benjamin and Donald Pope.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Parnell Barker of Cocoa Beach, Florida; her grandson Michael Barker; her great grandchildren, Tyler Barker, Ally Barker, Caitlin Phillips and William Goodman; and her great great grandchildren, Shane Barker, Bryson Phillips and Brady Lynn Phillips.
