He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Yeater and Virginia Thormann; his siblings, Don and Carol; his former wife Sandie; his children, Karalee (Douglas) and Nathan (DeeDee); his stepson Berry (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Dylan, Maya, Max, Mallory, Magnus and Reid; and also Corticobasal Degeneration.

David passed peacefully at home after battling the effects of a Parkinson's cousin, Corticobasal Degeneration.
