Angelina Gibney Obituary
Angelina Gibney, 79, died August 8, 2023, at home in Cocoa Beach. She was born in Queens, New York, and lived in Cocoa Beach for 19 years, coming from Ft. Lauderdale. Before retiring, she was a high school educator of 33 years in Hillsborough and Broward Counties. She received her Bachelor of Business Education from the University of South Florida and her Master of Education from Florida Atlantic University. She was involved with the Future Business Leaders of America with many winners at all levels. She enjoyed travelling, having visited every state and over 40 countries. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Gibney, Jr. of Cocoa Beach; daughter, Marie-Annette Inglis of Hoboken; son, James Gibney, III of Stuart; and four granddaughters. She was preceded in death by brother Richard Santangelo; sisters, Nancy Palmeri and Michelina Perez. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm August 17th at Martin Funeral Home in Stuart. Grave Site Funeral Procession and Committal Service will be celebrated at South Florida National Cemetery on August 18th at 12 pm in Lake Worth.
