He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Peter and Mary Zimmerly (Bixler); and his siblings, Ida Welty (Denver), Bessie Harder (Albert), Lydia McClintock, Ruth Zimmerly and Lester Zimmerly (Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his children, Ron Zimmerly (Flora), Michael Zimmerly (Michelle) and Tina Hernandez (Rene); his siblings, Daniel Zimmerly (late Donna), David Zimmerly (Barbara), Jim Zimmerly (Carol) and Lillie Steffen (late Ernest); and his brother-in-law Arthur Berg (late Linda). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
