He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; and his parents, Raymond E. Prophet and Beulah Corbin Prophet. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Lynn O'Keefe (Tim) of Cape Coral, Deborah Flaquer (Jorge) of South Carolina, Tammie Gunn (Steven) of South Carolina and William "Bill" Young (Tina) of LaBelle, Florida; his grandchildren, Brady O'Keefe, Matthew Flaquer, Renee Young and Jessica Young; his great grandchildren, Briana, Olivia, Destiny and Nicholas, Jr.; and his great great grandchildren, Anthony, Carmon and Gage.
