It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raleigh E. Mathis of Clewiston, Florida, born in Venus, Florida, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn A. Mathis; his parents, Raleigh Mathis and Mae Mathis (Green); and his siblings, Billy Mathis, Charlotte Mercer, Ruth Summerall, David Mathis, Hilda Tillman, Mary Carter and Shirley Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth E. Mathis (LeTrecia), Donna L. Marney (Tommy Lee), Darren K. Mathis and Kevin B. Mathis (Rebecca); and his sister Judy Farnam (Billy).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to his beloved church, Moore Haven Church of God would be appreciated.
