He was predeceased by: his sisters, Lee, Mary Lee (Charles), Katherine, Dorothy (James), Jessie, Janice and Rosa Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Shelton of LaBelle; his children, Debbie, David Sutton, Angela Shelton and Steven Shelton; and his stepchildren, Kevin, Rachel Ahrens, Lori and Kent McVay. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
