He was predeceased by: his wife Susan La'Raye Kelsoe; his siblings, Ezuber Buss, Verla Connelly, Virginia Walker, Ruby DeLine and Lewis Kelsoe; and his great grandchild Samuel Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Kelsoe, Neal Varnum and Jessica Kelsoe (Eric Crain); his sisters, Dorinda Lambdin (Chester), Angela Kelsoe, Lucy Harn and Jeannie Davis; his sister-in-law Connie Ingram; and his grandchildren, Brittney Proffit, Megan (Corey Kelsoe), Lauryn (Leeana Varnum) and Caylin Dupree (Kendal Smith). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
