She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Simmons and Emma Downs Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Victor P. Blandford; her son Victor P. Blandford; her grandchildren, Khalfani Prater, Celest Joseph, Naeem Prater, Nicholas Blandford and Emmanuel Blandford; and her siblings, Dorothy Simmons-Robertson (Brad), Victor Simmons, Jr. and Raymond Simmons. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
