He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Dykstra and Bernice Dykstra. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Andrea Walker (Jared), Tom Dykstra (Hilary), Jeff Dykstra (Leslie) and Courtney Rylaarsdam (James); his grandchildren, Leah, Jackson, Hayley, Anika, Rose, Andrew, Thomas, Brooklynn, Ransom, Lincoln and Harvey; and his sisters, Marsha Hayne (Jerry) and Fran Nogle (Steve).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of South Lake (1860 Hancock Rd, Clermont, FL 34711). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
