The passing of William Edward Monfort of Clearwater, Florida leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 108. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Henry and Effie Eldora Monfort (Hogg); his wife Bessie Flood; and his daughter Frankie Monfort. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Monfort II (Karen), Rossie Monfort and Neppie Alexander (Don); and his brother Norman Monfort. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the West Shore Baptist Church (305 N Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL 33609). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592).
