It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velda Mae Deddo (Clearwater, Florida), born in Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Michael Deddo (Joe); her children, Deborah Anna Ruth Cobb (Debbie), Joseph Edward Deddo (Joe), Glendora Maria Blake (Dorie), Robert Joseph Deddo (Rob) and Jason Sigal; and her husband Joe Deddo. She is also survived by seven beautiful grandchildren, and six beautiful great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family believes mom would support receipt of monetary gifts for the adoption process of a sweet baby girl named Hazel by a beautiful family in Brevard, NC who have dedicated many years to fostering and now are scheduled to adopt Hazel in the very near future.
