With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Slayton (Clearwater, Florida), born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Slayton and Jennie Slayton; his siblings, Frederick, Wallace "Wally", Doris (Cooper) and Janet (O'Brien); his son Michael Scott Slayton (Darlene); and his daughter-in-law Marlene.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Slayton (Powers); his children, Judith "Judy" Tamburrino (Dan), Robert "Bob" Slayton and Sheryl Stanley (Mark); and his stepchildren, Douglas Shields, Kevin Shields (Cathy) and Kim Shields (Ann). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a large and loving extended family.
