He is survived by: his daughter Ginna Nuckols (Wayne Nuckols); his grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Nick and Stephanie; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Michael, Noah, Bailei-Mae, Addison, Grayson and Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, Pat requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
