He is survived by: his mother Dennie Mable Hicks of Apopka, Florida; his daughters, Marquita Hicks of Tarpon Springs and Michella Hicks of Holiday, Florida; his grandchildren, Leon Williams, Ariana Butler, Cole Mitchell, Cameron Dennis, Cai Dennis and Jaylen Nieves; and his siblings, Annie Newsome, Brucie Hicks, Bernice Lewis, Elizabeth Hicks, Betty Gordon (Maurice), Edith Hicks, Elaine Hicks, Mildred Hicks, Elder Tommie Lee Hicks (Rose) and Lyndon Hicks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
