He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Swanson and Anna Swanson (Droter). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne (Hamilton); his daughter Lisa Stueckemann (Peter); his grandson Ryan Stueckemann (Jane); his great grandchild Emmett; and his grandson Jacob Stueckemann (Sophie).
