He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Gordon-Vecchio; his parents, Carmelo and Rose; and his siblings, Daniel, Joseph, Vincent, Millie and Grace Vecchio.
He is survived by: his son John; his son-in-law Donovan Greaves; his sister Lucille Diedrick; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle McDonald, Maureen Goff, Billy D'Elia, Karen Nazzarano, Deb Daniels, David Diedrick and Christopher Diedrick.
