She was predeceased by: her spouse Terry Kontos; and her daughter Katina Pait. She is survived by: her son Tom Kontos; her grandchildren, Eleni Kambanis Louh (Nakhleh), Georgios Theodore Kambanis Alyssa (Andrea) and Theodoros Kontos; her great grandchildren, Katerina, Jacqueline, Loren Louh, Alexandra and Madison Kambanis; and her brother Archimandrite Theocliton Malevitis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral (2815 36th St NW, Washington, DC 20007). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
