He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Caroline Bode (Mike) of Shelbina, Gregory II Rakestraw (Aidah) of Columbia, MO and Jerald John Whittle III (Jay) of Missoula, MT; his grandchildren, Micara, Carmiah and Micale Bode; and his siblings, Jeff Rakestraw (Stacy) of Lake St, Joe Rakestraw (Mary) of Westphalia, MO and Sharon Beumer (Tim) of Augusta, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
