He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel J. Bastarache and Irene Bastarache (Robichaud); his siblings, Aurise Goguen, Jeannine Cote, Adrienne Leger and Clarence; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Cote, Eddie Boudreau, Clarence Goguen and Aurele Maillet.
He is survived by: his wife Alveta Bastarache (Maillet); his son Marc; his daughter-in-law Kim; his siblings, Norman (Esther), Aldeo (Yvette), Ralph (Kathy Mullins), Leo Paul (Elmonde), Guy (Diane), Adela Boudreau, Jeannita Maillet (Roger LaPierre), Anise Burgman (Ted), Diane (Joe Cormier) and Norma (Leo Paul Collette); his siblings-in-law, Lelice Leger and Shirley Bastarache; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Suncoast Hospice of Pinellas County, FL.A celebration of his life will be held at Moss Feaster Home, 693 S. Belcher Rd., Clearwater, FL 33764 on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 1:30PM with the family receiving friends at 1:00PM..
