We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2022, at the age of 89, Duke Tieman of Clearwater, Florida passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duke Tieman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and May (Koch); his wife Geneva; his daughter Linda D. Wilson; his adoptive son Britton A.; and his grandsons, Steven and Chris.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael and Carl. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

No flowers, contributions to be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 1812 N. Highland Ave, Clearwater, FL 33755.

“I am saddened to learn of the passing of Duke Tieman. I knew him well and saw him daily when I was a Clearwater Police Officer assigned to his neighborhood. Duke was instrumental in cleaning up a neighborhood that had truly fallen upon hard times, and that had been transformed into an undesirable place to live or work.
