He was predeceased by: his son David A. Cimino, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Haskins Cimino; his children, Davanna Cimino, Deena Cimino Agliano and Justen Richard Cimino (Olga); his grandchildren, John David Agliano, MD (Hallie), William S. Kilgore, Jenna Agliano Sindoni (Alessandro), Desmond C. Kilgore, David M. Kilgore and Nina Rubio; and his great grandchildren, Mia Sindoni and Julia Agliano. He is also survived by husband and parent for his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Later in his career he worked in the Pinellas County Schools to advocate for the establishment and proper staffing of schools clinics until he retired due to the school closures during the Covid pandemic.
