With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann H. Thein in Clearwater Beach, Florida, born in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 2, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Thein; her parents, Joseph Hovanec and Sally Hovanec; and her brother Gerald D. Hovanec. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Crognale (Jen), Michael Thein (Lauren), Julie Schanzenbach (Brian) and Lisa Thein; and her great grandchildren, Weston and Cameron Crognale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice or toward a Mass card.
