She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newsome and Ruth Newsome (Hollington); her son Dowling "Bill" Stone, Jr.; and her sister Ann Chatwood. She is survived by: her husband Dowling Stone of Clarksville; her daughters, Sue Price of Clarksville and Cindy Welch of Clarksville; and her siblings, J. C. Newsome of Frink, Ella Luton of Clarksville and Eva Morris of Clarksville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
