Duane R. Towne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane R. Towne (Citrus Springs, Florida), born in Dansville, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Towne and Mildred Towne (Carney); his wife Randa Towne (Miller); and his siblings, Oliver, William, Violet Walther and Bette Griese.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Towne (Teresa) of Dover, Delaware, Jason Towne (Laura) of St. Augustine and Kevin Towne (Cynthia) of Citrus Springs; his grandchildren, Erik (Victoria), Matthew, Ryan, Alexandra, Sarah and Brenna; his great grandchildren, Owen and Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Wolfanger, Bob and Aletha Guy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any donations be made to the Lecanto Girls High School Soccer/Volleyball programs. Saturday 19 October Graveside Service with Full Military Honors 12:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2019 Oak Lawn Cemetery.
